Industrial- JOB: Fairfax manufacturing had several pieces of equipment making noise. Using curtain we were able isolate each piece of equipment, plus walkways. This not only reduced the overall noise levels in the plant but reduced employee's noise exposure. The equipment consisted of assembly areas, press brakes and a compressor room.
This enclosure was built around a compressor that would be used to help shut down a old oil field. The neighbors were a concern because of the close location to the equipment and this type enclosure was the oblivious solution. This enclosure measured 40' square with 20' short walls for access into the enclosure. The enclosure measured 20' tall, the height was determined by the noise modeling done by the consultant and was built for 120 MPH wind loading.
This 3 sided enclosure plus acoustical panels on the brick wall were added to reduce the overall noise levels. The neighbors or receivers of the noise were located around 50 for this equipment and when the chiller compressor ran it could be heard inside their homes. This enclosure worked well and reduced the noise enough to satisfy the neighbors.
Customer had noisy press brake and stamping machine that would create noise throughout the whole plant. By enclosing this piece of equipment and isolating it form the rest of the plant, each employee overall noise exposure is reduced.
Industrial- This customer was looking for inexpensive noise solution for the interior of their pumping station.
with acoustical intake louvers and discharge silencer mounted on the top of unit.
These two enclosures were contructed to protect neighbors from noise that was anticipated due to the loud piping and the engines of this gas transmission plant. The construction of the wall is 22 gauge with a powder coat finish which also included acoustical lagging on all the above ground pipes as part of the total noise solution.
This two solution noise solution included acoustical walls and lagging for the gas pipeline transmission located in Rolla and Joplin MO.

This was both industrial and architectural application,
The architect on this product need a acoustical ceiling but it had to be removable because they needed access to piping in the ceiling. We furnished our standard F-b aluminum panel with a Kynar finish.
